Playing Policy - Non Amateur

An extract from the Executive committee minutes of June 2009, this policy was adopted unanimously.

3.1   The match committee have determined that the following policy will apply for participation in club events by Professional and Trainee Professional Golfers. This policy will come into effect from July 1^st 2009.

3.1.1       Professional Golfers and Trainees will not be eligible to win any of the following events:

3.1.1.1            Club Honour Board Events

3.1.1.2            Monthly Medal

3.1.1.3            Midweek Monthly Medal

3.1.1.4            All named events open to Amateur Golfers

3.1.1.5            Closing Ambrose

3.1.2       If participating in any of the above events the Professional Golfers, and Non Amateurs, may be eligible to receive minor prizes only e.g. ball rundown and nearest the pins.

3.1.3       Professional Golfers and Trainees will be eligible to win a normal weekly club event.

3.1.4       The Club Captain reserves the right to amend this policy at any time he considers appropriate.
